Hon. Oke-Aare Aina, popularly known as JEGA, has celebrated Muslims as they enter the month of Ramadan. She also urged them to use the month to serve God.

Hon. Aina, who is a political stalwart in the Oluyole Local Government and women leader in the All Progressive Congress (APC), made this known in her Ramadan Kareem greetings sent to the public early on Friday.

She wished the Muslim faithful a month filled with joy, blessings, and spiritual growth. She prayed that the Muslims would enjoy all the goodies of life as they embarked on a month-long fasting and prayer.

“I wish you a blessed and peaceful month filled with joy, blessings, spiritual growth, and closeness with Allah. May this Ramadan bring you and your loved ones peace and prosperity. May you prosper beyond measure. I wish you all the goodies of life during this Ramadan and beyond,” she prayed.

However, the APC politician and leader in the Oluyole Local Government implored the people to use the month to serve God and engage in activities that will enhance their consecration with God. She believed that Ramadan is a special month that can make believers get closer to God and experience some spiritual growth.

She said, “I want you to remember the essence of Ramadan is for increased worship, charity, self-restraint, and seeking closeness to God. I urge you to use this month to please God in fasting, prayer, doing goods, engaging in charity, just to mention a few.”

She later told Muslims to use this month to pray for Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that it is by their prayers that Nigeria can become better. She said that she believed in the renewed hope mantra of President Tinubu and she knew that his government would take Nigeria to a greater height.
