Honourable Oke-Aare Aina famously known as JEGA has urged Christians to represent Jesus Christ to make Nigeria progress. She urged Christians to model the life of Christ in a bid to foster love for humanity and selfless service in Nigeria.

She emphasised that Jesus' unconditional love for humanity and selfless service made him die for the sin of people and reconciled human beings back to God through his death and resurrection.

JEGA, a chieftain of All Progressive Congress from Oluyole Local Government, called on Christian to emulate the selfless sacrifice of Jesus who died so that human beings can have peace with God.

In her Easter Press Release, she said, “While we celebrate Easter, a commemoration of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we should not forget the significance that came with it. The two striking important lessons of Easter are Jesus' unconditional and excess love for humanity and his selfless sacrifice to save the whole world. Jesus gave his life for the people. He did not allow humanity to be in its former state by being an enemy of God.”

“I urge all Christians in Nigeria to emulate the life of Christ to make Nigeria progress. This will enhance love, selfless sacrifices, labour of love and communal relationships. It will give us the reality of our age-long dream to have a nation where no one is oppressed, where no one embezzles public funds, where everywhere is safe, and where you do to others what you want them to do to you.”

“We can undoubtedly have the nation of our dream if we emulate Christ. His exemplary lifestyle is a lesson to learn. The love for humanity should come first in all that we do. With this, Nigeria will progress,” she stated.

Hon. Oke-Aare Aina has always been a crusader of good governance and love for the people. She has always used her position to amplify the needs of the people and cater for their needs with her resources.

Prior to the electioneering of the 2023 general elections, she gave no fewer than 500 students in Oluyole Local Government scholarships. She gave some students more scholarships in the post-election of 2023.

Her humanitarian services cut across the empowerment of women and youths, establishing training and skill acquisitions for youths, engaging in charity for the old people, and delving her hands in community projects that will make life meaningful for the people.
